Liverpool Wood Pellets carry an extensive stock of wood pellets suitable for equestrian uses, whether it be for use as bedding or for arenas and gallops, as well as for stable and building heating.
Wood pellets have an excellent absorbtion rate due to they way the pellets are formed, so kilo for kilo they are far more effective than shavings and chips, and break down much quicker when left to compost.
We supply white wood pellets made from 100% untreated wood. The pellets will "fluff up" when water is added. All our pellets are triple dust extracted, and have a very very low moisture content so they will absorb a lot more.
All our pellets conform to the CEN/TS 14961 standard, this is the top European quality standard.
It takes around 10-12 bags to lay a bed initially and around 1-2 bags per week for replenishment of removed material.(12 x 12 stable)
12kgs of pellets is roughly equivalent to one bale of shavings.

Wood Pellets sold to domestic customers who wish to use the pellets as wood fuel are charged 5% VAT.
Business customers and anybody who wishes to use wood pellets for any other use, the VAT is 15%.
