Our premium hardwood heat logs are one of the hottest and longest burning fuel products available.  With a calorific value of up to 4800 kcal per kilo they provide more heat per £ than even coal and are a lot cleaner, manageable and easy to use.  Briquettes are made from highly compressed sawdust with no additives or binding materials.  This sawdust is a 100% recycled by-product from wood production industries and so involves no cutting down of hardwood forestry.

If you are looking for the highest heat output and longest burn times then these briquettes are the product you need.  They burn hotter and longer than any other solid biomass fuel, including seasoned or kiln dried logs.  Each hard wood briquettes will provide a flame for up 2 hours with no sparks or spitting and smoulder for up to three hours.

Our briquettes are very easy to light with kindling or firelighters. They are smoke free and provide easy convenient combustion.  They have a moisture content of less than 10% and are therefore less likely to spit and they have a compostable ash residue of less than 1%. These hard wood briquettes are one of the cleanest fuels available with no additives or binders resulting in little to no tarring residue in chimney flues even after long term use.

Also known as heat logs, our briquettes have a uniform shape and size so they are easily handled and easy to to stack and store.  They are brittle and easy to break up by hand for use in smaller stoves or fires.  Each briquette measures approximately 280mm x 75mm x 75mm and weighs approximately 1.65kg.  Briquettes are supplied in packs of six weighing 10kg per pack and are perfect for use in open fires, stoves, boilers, firepits or chimeneas.
