80kg of hardwood heat logssupplied in eight 10kg packs.  Each pack contains six individual briquettes for a total of 44 units.  Each briquette weighs just over 1.65kg and measures 280mm x 75mm x 75mm.  The uniform size of each briquette, or heat log as they are also known, makes them very easy to stack, store and handle in the minimum space.

If you are looking for the most energy efficient firewood then you should look no further.  Hardwood briquettes have the highest calorific value or any solid biomass fuel at 4600-4800 kcal/kg.  They leave less than 1% ash residue which can be composted, and are easy to light using either kindling or fire blocks which can be found in the recommended products at the bottom of the page.  Our briquettes reach peak temperature quickly, providing a flame for up to 2 hours, and total burn time of up to three hours.  They are smoke free, fume free, spark free and spit free as a result of their very low moisture content which is less than 10%. These briquettes also leave a very low ash residue of less than 1%.

Briquettes are perfect for a multitude of uses, being very popular for use in stoves and boilers as well as firepits, open fireplaces, chimineas, commercial or domestic barbecues, cookers and pizza ovens.  For use in smaller devices the briquettes can easily be broken into smaller blocks by hand.
