The hard wood briquettes supplied by Liverpool Wood Pellets have the highest calorific value of any solid fuel.  They burn hotter and longer than seasoned logs, kiln dried logs and even coal.  Hard wood briquettes are made from compressed sawdust which has been recycled from wood production industries.  They provide up to two hours flame and will smoulder for up to three hours.

These hard wood briquettes, also known as heat logs, have a moisture content of under 10% and so as well as providing more heat output they are far less likely to spit and spark than other fuel alternatives.  They produce no smoke or fumes and contain no additives, in fact they are one of the cleanest fuels you can buy leaving little to no tar residue in chimney flues even with long term use.  Briquettes are very easy to light using kindling or fire lighters which are also available – see recommended products below.

Our briquettes are perfect for use in stoves, boilers, log burners and open fireplaces.  They are easily broken up for use in smaller stoves or burners.  Briquettes are also very popular for use in barbecues, pizza ovens and chimineas.  The briquettes have a consistent shape and size which can be stacked and stored efficiently in the smallest storage space and they are clean and easy to handle with each briquette weighing an easily manageable 1.65kg.  Briquettes are supplied in packs of six weighing 10kg.  The price shown includes delivery to most addresses in the UK.  Please select your delivery region from the drop down menu above.
