Welcome to the first blog post for Liverpool Wood Pellets. We spend a lot of time here talking to our customers. Too much in Andy’s case – you just can’t keep him quiet when he gets going! It’s clear that our many customers want to know more about us, what we do, who’s using our products and in the case of first time customers, what they’ve been missing out on for so long. The most natural progression for us then is to catch up with the 21st century blogging generation and start our own blog.
Over the coming weeks and months I’m going to be blogging regularly about everything that hopefully matters to you...there will be blogs about our different product ranges: wood pellets, briquettes, charcoal, logs. You’ll be amazed how interesting a blog about blocks of firewood can be, just wait and see! I’m also going to be blogging about the biomass industry in general. A lot of our customers are in rural off-gas grid areas and the impact of government financial support from programmes such as the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) should not be underestimated.
Finally I want to know about you. Whether you’re homeowner using our wood pellets for fuel or horse bedding, or a restaurant or pizzeria using our restaurant grade charcoal or briquettes, I'm sure many of you have a story to tell. I want to know what you love about our products, why you keep coming back for more and if there’s anything else you’d like to see us add to our range. Tell me your views on the wood fuel industry or how changing to biomass heating has changed your life, and your wallet, for the better.
If you’d like to be featured in a future blog or would like to tell me more about yourself then drop an email to [email protected] or add a comment to this blog.
The pellets we supply are UK sourced from Balcas in Northern Ireland and Scotland so the price will be unaffected by the demand which will be used by Drax. Also the grade of pellets which will be used by Drax is a lot lower due to the volume they will be consuming.
