A full pallet 1050kg of genuine Irish peat briquettes. Our best selling and most cost effective option.
Bord Na Móna peat briquettes have been the most popular solid fuel in Ireland for over 60 years. They are a 100% natural product made from dried milled peat that has been pressed under high pressure to form a briquette. These are genuine Irish peat briquettes made in Co. Tipperary and Co. Offaly. They will burn for up to three hours in open fires or can keep a slow burning fire going overnight in an enclosed appliance. Peat briquettes are also great for rekindling a dying fire.
Peat briquettes are clean and easy to use. They do not spark or spit and have a consistent quality and high heat output. They can be burned alone or combined with other fuels and come supplied in consistent sized bales which are easy to stack and store. Peat briquettes are made from 100% natural materials and contain no additives, binders or colouring agents. They have low sulphur emissions, only 12% typical moisture content and an ash content of less than 6%.
Peat briquettes are much drier than turf and so are very easy to light using just a couple of fire lighters (see recommended products below). They have a long burn time and high heat output. Peat briquettes have a unique aroma and unique rich bright flame which you only get from burning peat. They are the most flexible aromatic fuel for open fires, multi-fuel stoves, chimineas, solid fuel cookers, fire bowls and fire pits.
